Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 L-Series Lens – The best lens ever! I could shoot an entire wedding or campaign on this lens. This is my “everyday lens” and is on my camera 95% of the time. It’s a bit of an investment but totally worth it! Get it with extras HERE!
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Lens – This Canon lens is a cheaper alternative to the f/1.2 listed above. Still great quality, I used this lens for years before investing in the L series!
Flash
Canon Speedlite 430EX III-RT Flash – I have 2! This is perfect for an off camera flash setup. The flashes connect to each other via bluetooth and fire at the same time to create extra light seamlessly! One flash will attach to your camera body and the other will attach to a light stand. I use a studio light stand with a flash connector.

Rechargeable Batteries with Charger – On a complete charge, these hold a lot of charge, sometimes just one charge can get me through the entire day! Rechargeable batteries will save you money and help the environment Once you have the charger, you can buy extra batteries that can be charged while you’re using the first round.
Backpack – This lightweight backpack holds all of my equipment and is perfect for shoot days and traveling. Plus, it fits under a plane seat so it makes the perfect carry-on!
Wedding Fanny Pack – I wear this every wedding day! It’s perfect for holding my phone, memory cards, extra batteries, hair-ties and any other go-to items I need while shooting!
Earasers – Cannot live without! I always have these ear plugs with me at weddings. At receptions, the band and DJ can get pretty loud and sometimes the best angle is right next to the biggest speaker! Earasers are specially made to block out noises that are too loud (blaring music) while allowing you to hear conversations clearly.
Holdfast Gear Double Camera Strap – This strap is worn like a backpack which evenly distributes the weight of two cameras. It can also be worn comfortably with one camera!
